Event OverviewThe objective of our project is to increase cultural awareness and communication of Vancouver’s multifaceted society through the Hellenic Canadian Congress of B.C.’s (HCC) activities during the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the City and to emphasize it as the best liveable city in the world. The HCC’s Greek Heritage Festival project would do this by promoting the Vancouver Greek community’s established presence during the last 100 years and incorporating its rich cultural heritage spanning 2500 years of history. The project will encourage public inter-cultural and inter-racial understanding, personal enjoyment and harmony.
